Arkansas Basketball has had a worse than dismal road record over the past handful of years. So much in fact that we will not even enter it into this column - we figure that if you are reading then this then the chances are high that you already know how bad it is.
The Hogs can begin a new streak tonight when they tip-off against Ole Miss. The Rebels do not appear to be an easy victory, however they are beatable. Very beatable if that makes sense.
Arkansas struggled against Mississippi State Saturday - the Bulldogs could not miss, taking the large Bud Walton Arena crowd out of the game everytime that they desired to become a factor. The Hogs, on the other hand, could not hit, thus leading fans to once again agree that they were living by the three and dying by the three.
Even Arkansas' defensive energy lagged in the second half, which is by far a long cry from the intensity that they showed throughout both victories over Oklahoma and Texas. Perhaps they were wore out; perhaps they just did not have the right mindset.
Whatever the case, they need to be rested and back on the right track to defeat the Rebels tonight. A victory that is needed to prevent an 0 - 2 start in the SEC with both losses to Western Division teams.
